TERESA'S FULL STORY
After having three children I found myself having trouble controlling my bladder. It was getting progressively worse, and I wanted to get it taken care of. An exam showed that I had a prolapsed uterus, bladder and vagina. Everything was "going south," and without repair I would someday have a bigger problem. I spoke to Dr. Machon, and he indicated that he could repair all of the issues with the da Vinci Surgical System. The pain would be manageable, and the recovery would be much quicker. His confidence and reassurance allowed me to make the decision with very little apprehension. The procedure went exactly as Dr. Machon had indicated, and I was released from the hospital the next day. I had virtually no incision pain, just discomfort from the air they put in my stomach. Within days, I was out of my mind with boredom, feeling great and wanting to go back to work. I would highly recommend the da Vinci robotic-assisted procedure to anyone who is considering it.
