JULIA'S FULL STORY
On Oct 1st they did a cone biopsy, and the results were devastating. My gynecologist called me 3 days later to give me the news that I had a carcinoma in the uterus and that my only option was to take my uterus out. I called my gynecologist back in the Dominican Republic, and his opinion matched the gynecologist from here. A week later I met
Dr. Veronica Schimp, and she gave hope and peace about my situation. Not only did she tell that my cancer was stage 1, but she was also able to save my uterus. That means that I was able to have a baby in the future. She explained in details the procedure called (da Vinci) trachelectomy. Thanks to her, my dreams (having a baby) are going to be able to come true.. She is the most caring doctor that I ever had. God bless her. |
While clinical studies support the effectiveness of the da VinciĀ® System when used in minimally invasive surgery, individual results may vary. Surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System may not be appropriate for every individual. Always ask your doctor about all treatment options, as well as their risks and benefits.
